Aquatica AquaStone is a technologically advanced, solid composite material that consists of a high percentage of natural stone minerals combined with a low percentage of acrylic resin. This material has been specially developed for bathtubs and sinks to offer a hypoallergenic, non-toxic, 100% recyclable and durable stone option. Though it features a high percentage of natural stone, it is non-porous and yields a sublimely velvet-like feel.
Aquatica CrystalStone is also a composite material, and consists mostly of mineral fillers bonded to polyester resins and acrylic polymers. The result of this particular combination is a “soft-touch” surface that mimics porcelain’s high-gloss white finish and a natural stone esthetic in a surprisingly lightweight and durable form.
